The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) Wage and Hour Division (WHD) will offer three webinars the week of May 18, 2020, for employees, employers and state and local governments in the division’s Southeast region to educate them on the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The webinars will provide information on FFCRA requirements including paid sick leave and paid family leave eligibility, coverage, qualifying reasons, duration of leave, and calculation of pay.
The webinar specifically aimed at employees was held Monday, May 18. The webinar designed for employers will be offered Wednesday, May 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EDT, and the webinar for state and local governments will take place Friday, May 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EDT.
