The IRS has created a new website, irs.gov/coronavirus, that the IRS says is “focused on steps to help taxpayers, businesses and others affected by the coronavirus” (COVID-19).

As of the time we went to press, this page only contains references to IR 2020-54, 3/11/2020, and Notice 2020-15, 2020-14 IRB (see IRS Eliminates Barriers to Coronavirus Testing and Treatment for HSA Benefits, 03/12/2020), which provide information regarding high-deductible health plans and coronavirus costs. The webite also includes online resources for taxpayers and links to IRS social media accounts.

IRS has indicated that the new website will be updated as new information is available.
